The day begins quietly with a cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast as you wake up in the serene jungle of Parabello. You’ll then go on a mini jeep safari to a local village where you’ll visit the traditional pottery workshop, before travelling to the historic Onoribo plantation to learn more about the colonial past. After a delicious lunch featuring Surinamese specialities such as saoto or teloh, you’ll explore the Para River by kayak or SUP, paddling along tranquil creeks and green banks. In the afternoon, the focus is on water activities: you can launch yourself from the mega-blob, swing on the Russian swing, try out the Tarzan swing and jump on the 7-metre-high water trampoline. In between, you can relax with activities such as volleyball, table tennis or archery, or simply unwind in a hammock. At 5.00 pm, you’ll return to Paramaribo, full of memories of culture, nature and adventure.
