Program
Day 1
The journey begins at 9.00 am from Paramaribo. You’ll travel along the motorway to Paranam, where you’ll stop for refreshments. You will then continue your journey across the Carolina Bridge to the charming village of Redi Doti. Here you will discover the historic Jewish settlement of Jodensavanne, with the impressive ruins of the oldest synagogue, an enchanting cemetery and a healing spring. Our guide will share fascinating stories whilst you admire the centuries-old graves. After a pleasant break with snacks and drinks, you’ll continue your journey to Overbridge for a delicious lunch. You’ll then travel on to Ston Island, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 2
You’ll be woken by the impressive howls of howler monkeys and the cheerful chirping of birdsong, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Between 06.00 and 06.30, you’ll enjoy an enchanting sunrise. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll have time to go fishing, swimming or simply relax. You can also set off on your own adventure in a kayak or canoe on the reservoir. After lunch, you’ll return to Paramaribo, where you’ll arrive at around 6.00 pm.
