Program
Day 1
You will set off early in the morning between 03:30 and 04:00 from Paramaribo to Nieuw Nickerie, South Drain. At around 09:00, you’ll cross into Guyana via Moleson Creek. You’ll then continue your journey by bus to Georgetown, where you’ll arrive in the late afternoon, around 17:00. After checking into your three-star hotel in Georgetown, you’ll have dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
Day 2
After breakfast, we’ll explore Georgetown on a guided tour of the city, including a visit to the lively Stabrook Market. You’ll then travel to the local airport for a flight to the impressive Kaieteur Falls – an unforgettable and breathtaking experience. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Georgetown, where you’ll round off the evening with a delicious dinner.
Day 3
After breakfast, you’ll set off on a fascinating day trip to Linden and Zeedijk. In charming Linden, a town steeped in local culture and hospitality, you’ll gain an authentic insight into the region’s daily life. You will then head to the enchanting Zeedijk, where you can enjoy picturesque views of the Guyanese coastline. Along the way, you will be served a delicious lunch and dinner, allowing you to sample the local cuisine and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this fascinating day.
Day 4
You’ll set off at 5.00 am for Moleson Creek, stopping for breakfast along the way. Once you arrive in Nickerie, you’ll enjoy a hearty lunch. After this delicious meal, you’ll begin the return journey to Paramaribo, where you’ll arrive at around 6.00 pm.
