Program

Day 1

At 7:00 am we leave by bus for Witagron. After arrival we will have lunch before loading the boats for an approximately 3-hour boat trip to the Raleigh Falls. Upon arrival we meet the manager and are assigned our accommodation. In the afternoon we explore the area around the island and there is an opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the river, if you wish.

Day 2

After breakfast we prepare for a forest walk to the Voltzberg, a fascinating tour where you can spot a range of animals, such as monkeys, birds and wild boars. The highlight of the day is the climb to the 240 meter top, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the tropical rainforest. In the afternoon we return to the lodge and make a stop at the Anjoemara falls to cool off. In the evening we enjoy a nice get-together after dinner.

Day 3

After breakfast we go by boat to Lolopasi, from where we take an enchanting forest walk to the impressive Mother Falls. Lunch is scheduled for 1 p.m. In the afternoon we visit the airport and offer the opportunity to spot various birds. The afternoon is free to spend. After dinner we enjoy some fun together and for those who want, there is a cultural show with singing and dancing by the local Raleigh boys.

Day 4

Around 9:00 am we go by boat to Witagron and then on to Blanche Marie. During this trip there is a chance of seeing various animals and bird species. Upon arrival at Blanche Marie we explore the area, where you have the opportunity to swim, followed by dinner.

Day 5

After breakfast we go for a walk towards the Blanche Marie waterfall. Along the way, you'll discover fascinating details about the area's biodiversity as we pass rapid river rapids. At specific places you can enjoy the powerful crashing water under or near the waterfalls, a truly unique experience!

Day 6

After breakfast we head to Apoera for some city sightseeing, followed by a visit to the "Railway from Somewhere to Nowhere" in the afternoon. We then continue to the indigenous villages of Kwamalasemoetoe and Washabo for a village walk, where you can learn about the culture of the Trios and Arawaks and buy souvenirs. We end the day with a nice get-together after dinner.

Day 7

After a delicious breakfast, we set sail for Paramaribo for the return journey.
