Program
Day 1
De reis begint om 9.00 uur vanuit Paramaribo. U rijdt via de Highway naar Paranam voor een verfrissende tussenstop, waarna u over de Carolinabrug naar het charmante dorp Redi Doti reist. Hier ontdekt u de historische Joodse nederzetting Jodensavanne met de indrukwekkende ruïnes van de oudste synagoge, een betoverende begraafplaats en een geneeskrachtige waterbron. Onder leiding van uw gids hoort u boeiende verhalen en bewondert u de eeuwenoude graven. Na een aangename pauze met snacks en drankjes vervolgt u uw route naar Overbridge voor een smakelijke lunch. Daarna reist u door naar Ston Island, waar u overnacht.
Day 2
Vandaag brengen we u mee naar de Brownsberg, een prachtig natuurreservaat in het hart van Suriname. Dit reservaat, gelegen in het Centraal Suriname Natuurreservaat, staat bekend om zijn weelderige regenwouden, adembenemende uitzichten en rijke flora en fauna, wat het tot een populaire bestemming maakt voor natuurliefhebbers, wandelaars en avonturiers. Vanaf de top van de Brownsberg geniet u van een spectaculair panorama over het Brokopondo Reservoir, een uitgestrekt stuwmeer dat het landschap een bijzondere en indrukwekkende uitstraling geeft.
Day 3
You’ll be woken by the impressive howls of howler monkeys and the cheerful chirping of birdsong, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Between 06.00 and 06.30, you’ll enjoy an enchanting sunrise. After a hearty breakfast, you’ll have time to go fishing, swimming or simply relax. You can also set off on your own adventure in a kayak or canoe on the reservoir. After lunch, you’ll return to Paramaribo, where you’ll arrive at around 6.00 pm.
