Program
Day 1
The Dolphins & Caimans Tour begins with an exciting dolphin-watching excursion from Leonsberg. As you explore the estuary and the sea, you’ll see dolphins leaping around the boat, their enthusiasm proving infectious. Afterwards, a delicious Hindustani meal awaits you at the historic 'Johanna and Margaretha' sugar plantation in Commewijne. After dinner, you’ll prepare for the caiman tour in the marsh. Before entering the marsh, you’re advised to apply mosquito repellent due to the high levels of mosquito activity. Using a special noose, the boatman catches caimans, after which you’ll have the chance to hold these fascinating animals and take photos. After an evening full of adventurous encounters, you’ll return to Leonsberg, arriving at around 10.00 pm. An unforgettable experience full of excitement and natural beauty awaits you.
