Santigron
Program
Day 1
Start the day with a trip from Paramaribo to Santigron. On the way we stop in Lelydorp for final shopping and a market visit. Upon arrival in Santigron, a warm welcome awaits you with a drink. The guide will share stories about the village and its history, and you will meet friendly locals. A tasty Surinamese lunch will be followed by a cultural dance performance and a chance to admire local crafts. In the afternoon we explore the Saramacca River and a mysterious creek in the jungle, followed by an evening BBQ.
Day 2
The day starts with a delicious breakfast before we leave for the Indian village of Pikin Poika. Here we immerse ourselves in Indian culture and meet the Village Captain. In the afternoon we return to the city, arriving around 4:30 PM.
