Overview

Jenny Tours’ 2-day Parabello Jungle Adventure Park tour is a perfect mix of action, nature and culture close to Paramaribo. On day 1, you can quad or buggy ride, zipline, climb, and work off your adrenaline with a Tarzan swing, followed by river tubing and a relaxing banana boat ride. In the evening, choose from a mountain bike tour, night hike or even a jungle disco, while staying overnight in hammocks, tents or rooms. Day 2 is all about culture with a mini-jeep safari to an indigenous village and the Onoribo plantation, and then water fun with kayaking, SUPing, a mega-bubble, water trampoline and Russian swing. The tour also offers games such as volleyball, table tennis, archery and a relaxing moment in a hammock. You will return to Paramaribo around 17:00, full of impressions of adventure and nature.

Program

Day 1

On the first day of the Parabello Jungle Adventure Park tour, you leave Paramaribo around 8.30 am for an adventurous drive towards the park. After arrival, the real work begins: you choose between a quad bike ride or a tough buggy tour where you tear through forest trails, stopping along the way for a refreshing swim at Klein Curaçao. Afterwards, more adrenaline awaits, as the zipline, climbing wall and Tarzan swing offer spectacular views and a dose of guts. Between activities, you will enjoy a hot lunch, after which the programme continues on the water. During relaxed river tubing, you let yourself be carried away by the peaceful creeks, before experiencing the merry chaos of a banana boat ride. In the late afternoon, climb the observation tower for a stunning sunset over the jungle. When evening falls, choose from an additional activity: a sporty mountain bike ride, a mysterious night walk through the forest or just the fun of a small jungle disco. You end the day with an overnight stay in hammocks, tents or comfortable rooms, amidst the silence of nature.

Day 2

On day 2, the morning starts quietly with a cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast as you wake up in the peaceful jungle of Parabello. You will then take a mini-jeep safari to an indigenous village, where you will visit the traditional pottery, and then travel on to the historic plantation Onoribo to learn more about its colonial past. After lunch - with tasty Surinamese dishes such as saoto or teloh - explore the Para River by kayak or SUP, paddling along quiet creeks and green shores. In the afternoon, it's time for adventure on the water: you can launch yourself from the megablob, swing back and forth on the Russian swing, try out the Tarzan swing in the water and somersault on the 7-metre-high water trampoline. In between, you can relax with games such as volleyball, ping-pong, arrow-and-bow shooting or just hang out in the hammock. At 17:00, catch the drive back to Paramaribo, full of impressions of culture, nature and adventure.
