Program
Day 1
Start the day with an overview of the plan and a refreshing cup of coffee or tea before heading into the untamed jungle. After about 4 hours you will reach the base camp, where you can relax with a refreshing swim and a meal. Put on your jungle outfit and take a 3- to 4-hour hike through the pristine wilderness to the mountain top. An achievable tour for anyone in reasonable condition. At the top, stunning views, a shower and kitchen facilities await for a good night's sleep.
Day 2
Wake up early for a magical sunrise over the jungle. Be enchanted by the awakening sounds of nature. After a hearty breakfast, your guide will take you to the rare orange cocks-of-the-rock on the other side of the mountain. Explore the jungle, possibly spot different monkey species and return to the base camp for an extensive lunch. The afternoon offers various activities such as fishing, boating and even a Tarzan swing in the water at high tide. End the evening with a guide to spot nocturnal animals around the campfire.
Day 3
Do you want to discover more? Enter the jungle again with your guide to spot more animals. Would you rather relax with swimming and sunbathing on the last day? That is also possible. After lunch it is time to pack and drive back to Paramaribo.
