Overview
Our Sunset & Dolphins trip is an enchanting 3-hour experience on the Suriname and Commewijne rivers. During the trip you can get a breath of fresh air while enjoying an encounter with playful dolphins. We also visit the old Johan and Margaretha plantation, where you can experience the tranquility of the river and the local atmosphere. The tour reaches its climax at sunset, when the sky fills with warm colors, and you relax with a snack, a drink and atmospheric music.

Program
Day 1
At 4:00 PM we leave Leonsberg on a traditional Surinamese tent boat. While enjoying a (non-alcoholic) drink we sail towards the mouth of the Commewijne river in search of dolphins. Spotting dolphins we slowly sail to the Rust & Werk plantation, an interesting place to explore. After a walk through the village and a beautiful sunset we return. During the entire trip you will enjoy the enchanting ambiance and the fascinating world of dolphins.
