Overview
Explore the magic of the Surinamese waters with our Dolphins & Caymans Tour. The adventure begins at Leonsberg, where you board the boat and look for playful dolphins in the estuary. Under the enchanting sunset you can enjoy their acrobatic jumps around the boat. After a tasty Hindustani meal at the historic sugar plantation 'Johanna and Margaretha', you will enter the swamp to spot caimans. With the help of the boatswain you will catch caimans and have the unique opportunity to hold and photograph these mysterious creatures.

Program
Day 1
The Dolphins & Caymans Tour starts with an exciting dolphin excursion from Leonsberg. As you explore the estuary and out to sea, you'll see dolphins jumping around the boat, their enthusiasm matching yours. A delicious Hindustani meal awaits you at the historic sugar plantation 'Johanna and Margaretha' in Commewijne. After dinner the guide prepares for the caiman tour in the swamp. Before entering the swamp, you are advised to apply anti-mosquito repellent due to the mosquito activity. The boatswain will catch caimans using a special loop, after which you will have the opportunity to hold and take photos of these fascinating animals. After an evening full of adventurous encounters, we return to Leonsberg, where you are expected at 4:00 PM and will be back around 10:00 PM. An unforgettable experience awaits you, full of excitement and natural beauty.
